I'm David. I work in software and live in Boston. This is a deliberately small site: some writing, a few things I've made or been part of, and links I think are worth your time.
About
I like tools that stay out of the way, systems that fail loudly instead of quietly, and explanations that respect the reader's time. Most of what I write here is an attempt to understand something well enough to say it plainly.
Away from a keyboard, I'm usually walking somewhere in the city, reading something older than the internet, or fixing a thing that would have been cheaper to replace.
